To all those mourning the lost of a great heart, a great person, whose warm soul will not be replaced and whose place within our world, more so, our family, Mary Kaye, I offer you this message: She did not lose the battle with cancer, nor did she lose the great battle known as life, but more so, she won due to her vibrance and grace, and the way she attacked life everyday. She lived beautifully, every single day, despite the extra weight placed upon her by the terrible disease. To live that way and still go at each day with happiness and hope, strength and courage, makes her one of the strongest people to walk among us. And now, she walks with God.
Aunt Mary Kaye, you will be missed, not only for your physical presence, but also for your warm smile, hugs, and grace that you blessed each one of us with.
