ALBERTO BONOMO On Friday, October 7, 2011, at St. Boniface Hospital, Alberto, surrounded by his family, was released from suffering into the hands of the Lord. He was 68 years old. Alberto was the beloved spouse of Annette (nee Chénier) and dear father to Tony (Nicole) and Philippe (Louise). He will be much missed by grandchildren, Alexei, Patrick, Natasha and Brandyn; by sisters-in-law, Patricia (Gary) and Louise; nieces, Olga, Brigitte and Sandra; and nephews, Otto and Pietro, will remember him with great affection. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Salvatore Bonomo, as well as his sister, Monique. Among Alberto's many friends, Georges Speliers was a special one from boyhood; and he was respected by the many people to whom he provided financial planning counsel and assistance. Always a gracious and generous host, as a young husband and father he loved to prepare and serve delicious meals, with laughter and song in abundance. In later years and in declining health, he enjoyed cottage life and took delight in winning as many games of Canasta as could be played in a day. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of 7A south, as well as the Spiritual Care of the St. Boniface Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, October 11, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 av de la Cathedrale. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Il avait 68 ans. Alberto était l'époux bien aimé d'Annette (née Chénier) et le papa chéri de Tony (Nicole) et Philippe (Louise). Ses petits-enfants Alexei, Patrick, Natasha et Brandyn, ses belles-soeurs Patricia (Gary) et Louise, le gardent tout près dans leur coeur. Ses nièces Olga, Brigitte et Sandra et ses neveux Otto et Pietro s'en souviennent avec affection. Il a été précédé dans la mort par ses parents, Anna et Salvatore Bonomo, et sa soeur, Monique. Alberto avait de nombreux amis, y compris Georges Speliers, son ami spécial de longue date. Il étéait respecté par les nombreuses gens à qui il a fourni de l'aide en matière de conseils financiers. Toujours gracieux et généreux, il adorait la préparation de repas délicieux, servis avec joie et souvent accompagnés de musique et de chansons. La messe des funérailles aura lieu le mercredi 12 octobre à 14h en la Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface. L'inhumation privée aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
