Services were Thursday, March 8, at 2 P.M. at the Sand Rock Baptist Church with Revs. Danny Flora, Allen Young and Herbert Gwin officiating. Burial was in Sand Rock Cemetery with Perry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Chestnut is survived by his wife, Louvenia Stowe Chestnut; a son Billy J. Chestnut of Hixon, Tenn.; a daughter Patsy Reagan of Birmingham; two sisters, Lola Parker of Bunnell, Fla. and Clarence St. Clair of Leesburg, four grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Jim and Lucy Keener Chestnut.
