A memorial Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, in St. Anne's Catholic Church for Elizabeth A. "Betty" Stover, who died Sept. 12 at age 82.
Mrs. Stover was born Nov. 28, 1916, in New Plymouth, Idaho. Her maiden name was Ackerman. She moved to Oregon as a child and graduated from Ontario High School. She graduated from Portland State University at the age of 54. She lived in Portland for 37 years. A registered nurse, she worked in the epidemiology division of the Multnomah County Health Department for about 20 years, retiring in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina Montee of Pendleton; sons, Allen of Lake Oswego, Neil of Bend, James of Plano, Texas, and John of Gresham; four brothers; four sisters; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Rose City Cemetery & Funeral Home.
