Born October 22, 1909, in Deweyville, Utah, to Benajah and Lener Quimby Record, one of 13 children. Married Almon Williams December 19, 1928; he preceded her in death in 1975. Viola loved gardening, especially roses. In her later years, oil painting was her hobby.
Survived by three children: son, Robert Almon Williams (Pat Stoskopf) of Colville, Washington; daughters, Viola Dolores Petersen (Dean) of Magna, Utah, and Bear Lake, Idaho; and Nancy Carol VanHuist (Armond) of Asheboro, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Millie Price of Tremonton, Utah; and Pearl Williams of Silver Springs, Nevada.
