E. A. BALLARD PASSES AWAY
E. A. Ballard, 64, died at his home in the Mt. Olive section of Henderson county Monday.
Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Olive Baptist church on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Ernest Blythe and the Rev. D. R. Corne officiating.
In addition to his wife he is survived by the following children: James Ballard, Ivory Ballard and Mrs. Hamilton McDowell of Hendersonville, and Mrs. M. H. Redden, Lloyd Ballard, Fred Ballard, Mrs. Grady Jones and Misses Alva and Mary Lois Ballard, all of Zirconia.
Active pallbearers will include Fate Maybin, Robert Camp, Otis McDowell, Robert Bayne, Albert Ballard and Oliver Capps. The Shepherd Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
