She was a member of French Broad Baptist Church and formerly employed by American Enka Corp.
Survived by her husband; three daughters, Josephine, Margaret, and Brenda, and two sons, Dan and Tony, all of the home; six sisters, Mrs. J.W. (Florence) Morris of Detroit, MI, Mrs. S.O. (Glenda) Waddell of Kingsport, TN, Mrs. Elizabeth Hosler of Cadillac, MI, Mrs. W.B. McKinnish of Asheville, and Mrs. Jack Maine and Mrs. George May, both of Miami, FL.; and four brothers, Filmore Freeman, Ralph Freeman, and Dan Freeman, all of Asheville, and Tom Freeman of Detroit, MI.
Funeral services: Thursday, June 17, 1954, French Broad Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mitchell Embler and Rev. Ervin Sluder.
Burial: French Broad Baptist Church Cemetery.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
