Mary Bettie (Bettie) Harned Tucker was the wife of Samuel Wilson Tucker and the mother of Clyde LeRoy, Walter Gordon (Bud), Mary Beulah (Beulah), Eva Christine (Christine), and Harned Randolph. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Peyton Randolph Harned. She is my grandmother.

MARY BETTIE TUCKER LAST RITES THURSDAY
JET --Mary Bettie Tucker, 90, died Tuesday morning at a Cherokee hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10 in the Methodist Church in Jet with Rev. Milburn Burrow and Rev. Dave Brummett officiating. Burial will be in the Jet Cemetery with the Grapes Funer al Home in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Breckinridge County, Ky., on Aug. 8, 1875, and moved with her parents to Pond Creek in 1898. She united in marriage with Samuel Wilson Tucker on March 21, 1899. They established t heir home on a farm south of Jet, before moving into Jet in 1905.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, W. G. (Bud) of Jet; two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Beulah) Nelson, Sapulpa, and Mrs. Thomas (Christine) Cole, Wichita, Kan.; four brothers, J. R. Harned of New York City, P. R . Harned of Cherokee, Mark Harned of Modesto, Calif., and Chester Harned of Pocasset; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, S. W., and two sons, Clyde L. and Harned.
