Debra England, 68, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2019 in Pocatello, Idaho after a brief illness.

Debra was born on June 2, 1951 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Miles Sumner and Ilene Bright England. She was the 4th of 10 children. Deb grew up in Pocatello, graduated from Highland High School, and then from ISU College of Technology in Cosmetology.

Debra worked at American Microsystems for about 25 years, much of the time as a Fab Supervisor. After taking a buyout from AMI, she went to work for and later retired from Time Laboratories. While working, she developed lifelong friendships. Everyone enjoyed her quick wit and sense of humor.

Deb was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in the Primary and Young Women organizations and had many callings in the Relief Society, including President in two wards. She served a Service Mission at the Family History Scanning Center.

Debra enjoyed decorating her home for the seasons and the holidays, reading, photography and crocheting. One of her last crocheting projects was a beautiful piece with an intricate pattern which was difficult and made more complicated because of the neuropathy in her hands. This masterpiece was donated for a special purpose.

Debra lived with and cared for her mother for 25 years. She is survived by nine brothers and sisters: Michael (Linda), Steven (Ellen), Cherilyn (Thomas) Barnes, Janette (David) Hansen, Jeffery (Cynthia), Kevin (Melody), Douglas (Melinda), Bradley (Terra), Kathleen (Dan) Luker; and 50 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Kevin Whittier (brother-in-law); Adam Whittier (nephew); and twin nieces, Elizabeth Jean and Erica Lynn England.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Indian Hills Ward Chapel, 5425 Bannock Hwy, Pocatello, Idaho. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, November 17 at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID and one hour prior to services at the Church.

Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
