Kent S Lamb, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed peacefully from this mortal existence on November 10th, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kent was born to Suel H. Lamb and LaPreal (Seamons) Lamb, February 18th, 1946 in Logan, Cache Valley, Utah. He was the youngest of 5 boys. Kent was a real farm boy. He milked the cows twice a day a worked tirelessly on the family farm. He graduated from North Cache High School.

Kent married June Bingham and was blessed with 2 sons. Later divorced. Kent married Anna M. Brown on December 6th, 1974, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple August 1st, 1977. Together they raised 1 more son and 4 daughters.

Kent spent most his career in the transportation industry. He finished his career doing his favorite thing, driving school bus transporting children for Ada School District and later the YMCA. He adored the children he served and felt an amazingly deep affection and commitment to those children. Everywhere he went children would run up to hug “Mr. Kent”.

Kent was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served valiantly in many positions over the years, most recently as a 1st counselor to his good friend Bishop Brandon Miner in the Fairview ward. He loved his Savior and was a devoted servant to the end.

Kent was the perfect picture of courageously fighting cancer. He never gave up. Never did a complaint leave his lips. Always a gentleman, even trying to get up to say goodbye to his hospice nurse when she last visited him. He truly endured to the end, in classic Kent form, with a smile on his face.

Kent is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gene (Ludean)(d), Verl (Nancy)(d), Max (Jodi)(d)and Marlo (Lettimarie) He is survived by his wife, Anna, 3 sons Richard Lamb, Colby (Tiffany) Lamb, Christopher Lamb, 4 daughters Trace (Daniel) Billingsley, Stacy Lamb, Laine (James) Bruce, and Jamie (Nicholas) Hilton. 23 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews and 100’s of children whose life he touched through the ADA School District and YMCA.
