Verl Lamb passed away peacefully Feb. 17, 2016. He was born Feb. 1, 1931 in Hyde Park, Utah, to Suel and LaPreal Lamb.

He married Nancy Lewis in the Salt Lake Temple Aug. 21, 1957. Verl served in the Navy during the Korean conflict on the USS Yancey.

He earned two bachelor degrees from BYU (Marketing, Travel/Tourism). Verl loved travel, gardening and BYU sports. He had a strong testimony and faithfully served in many church callings. He joined the Utah Army National Guard as a recruiter and was in the 144th Evacuation Hospital.

He was a kind, selfless and generous man. He loved people and they loved him. He is survived by Nancy; daughters, Teresa (Kent), Susan, Karen (Dale); 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Fri., Feb. 19 from 6-8 PM at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Murray. Funeral services will be held Sat., Feb. 20 at 11 AM at the Murray Belview Ward, 6300 So 300 E, Murray, with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 AM. Interment at Murray City Cemetery following the funeral.
