Nadyne was born September 8, 1936 in Teton, Idaho, the fourth of five children born to Stanley Harrison Welch and Orpha Sadilla Johnston Welch.
After graduating from Burley High School, Nadyne went on to earn her teaching degree from Utah State University.
On November 26, 1969, she married Guy William Sundberg in the Idaho Falls Temple. The couple settled in Clear Creek, Utah where they operated a ranch and Nadyne taught second grade at Malta Elementary.
As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nadyne served in many callings, filling both music and teaching assignments. Nadyne loved to read; she also enjoyed attending operas in Logan, and she was a member of the DUP and a hospice volunteer.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Kevin) Nelson; stepchildren: Peggy (Jim) Manriques, Claudia (Stephen) Armstrong, David Sundberg and John (Kay) Sundberg; stepdaughter-in-law, Winnie Sundberg; brother, Jacob Keith (Claire) Welch; sister, Sara Elizabeth Case; sister-in-law, Donna Welch; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; her parents: Stanley and Orpha; her daughter, Camille; stepsons: Gene Sundberg and Keith Sundberg; sister, Eva Lou Hodges; brother, J. Stanley Welch; brother-in-law, Everette Hodges; and stepgranddaughter, Natalie Manriques.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 16, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Malta Ward, located at 280 N. 1st St., in Malta. Burial will follow at the Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, November 15, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and Saturday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. preceding the service at the church.
