Elaine Louise Adair, age 68, of Gulfport passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 in Gulfport. She was born October 15, 1950 in Bloomsburg, PA.
She earned a masters degree from the University of Colorado, served in the US Air Force and the National Guard. She was a tech rep for Lockheed Aircraft Company for fifteen years. She was the founder of Mississippi Spay and Neuter Clinic in Jackson, MS. She was an avid lover of animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Girton and Maurine Shipman; and siblings Virginia Long and Carl Girton.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Adair; step-children, Allyssa Masters, Addison Adair, and Preston Adair; siblings, Patricia Ortman, and Jern Johnson; and pets Bulldog and Molly and many cats.
