Ruth O. Morrison, 64, of LeRoy, Kansas, died early this morning at the Allen County Hospital in Iola, Kansas.

She was born Sept. 3, 1913 in Moran, Kansas.

She was married to Harry F. Morrison on Sept. 10, 1933.

She had lived in Allen county most of her life.

She had worked as a clerk for Litwin's and later T.G.& Y. Illness forced her retirement in 1972 and in August 1977 she moved to LeRoy, Kansas to make her home.

Mrs. Morrison was a member of the LaHarpe Methodist Church and was a post worthy matron of the Eastern Star in LaHarpe.

Survivors include two sons, Harry Wilbur Morrison of LeRoy, KS, and Don R. Morrison, of Springfield, MO; three daughters, Betty Cox of Garden Grove, CA, Delma Murray of rural LeRoy, KS, and Nancy Bartholomew, of Erie, KS; three brothers, Everett Myers of Denver, CO, and Art Myers and Duke Myers, both of Elsmore, KS; four sisters, Beulah Myers of Moran, KS, Onnie Schooley of Gasconade, MO, Lola Crum, of Indianapolis, IN, and Elf Justus, of Manhattan, KS; and eight grandchildren.

She was proceded in death by a son, Darrell Dean Morrison and five brothers.

The funeral service will be Thursday at the Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home with the Rev. James Ward officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Iola, KS.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
