Cheryl Dittman, 75, of Twin Lakes Village, passed away at home October 27, 2019.
She was born September 27, 1944 in Orem, Utah, where she graduated from Orem High School in 1962.
She married Gary S. Dittman on April 24, 1981. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Seattle, Washington Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cheryl and Gary relocated from the Seattle area to Twin Lakes in Northern Idaho in 1994.
Cheryl loved the game of golf, watching movies, and being with friends and family (defined as whomever she was with). Cheryl worked for many years for Albertsons, Washington Trust Bank, and most recently at the Coeur d'Alene Golf Resort.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; her parents, Hazel and Leonard "Pete" Peterson; and her brother, Jan Peterson.
She is survived by her seven children: Dirk Fanning (Shelly), Eric Dittman (Barbara), Cory Fanning, Kimberly Mattson, Aaron Dittman (Jani), Drew Dittman (Pyper) and Quinn Dittman (Renee); many grandchildren; along with her three sisters, Karen Stevens, Vickie Murphy and Julie Allred.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakeland Ward Building, 15151 N. Meyer Road, Rathdrum, ID 83858. Burial will follow at Coeur d' Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way, Coeur d' Alene.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or Hospice of North Idaho, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d' Alene, ID 83815 (www.hospiceofnorthidaho.org). Cheryl would also love it if you did something fun with your family.
