Geneva Rose Knapp of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the age of ninety-five.

Born in Uniontown, Washington, Geneva spent much of her childhood and adult life in Rockyford, Alberta, later raising a family of three in Calgary. Geneva worked at naval service headquarters in Ottawa as an encoder/decoder during war time; she later worked with CP hotels, and also pursued real estate ventures for several years.

Geneva is missed by her children, the late Sheri Roberts and children Kim, Kelly and Jesse (the late Warner); Lee Meikle (Ian) and children Todd, Gregg and Lindsay; Graham Bond (Nujma); and her sister Maria Nilsson (the late Bjorn) as well as many extended family members who know she will forever be a part of their lives.

Those who passed before, include her husbands, Hal Knapp, Frank Bond; and brothers Jimmy, Donnie (the late Caroline) and Robert (Doris (David)).

The family is grateful for the constant support from all our many special relatives over the years, several of whom were able to visit Geneva often, including Maria, the late Bjorn, the late Caroline,Corinne, Darrel, Donna, the late Diane, Kim, Kelly, Mark, Sophia and Alexa. Thanks also to friend and companion Feb Roales and the great staff at Wentworth Court Main in Calgary.
