Mrs. Patsy Ann Griffin Wolcott, age 90, resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Pat was born to Henry Newell and Clara Wright Spencer Griffin on March 16, 1929 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She married the love of her life, Roy Jerome Wolcott, Jr., on November 13, 1944 in Shreveport. She worked for Rubber Corp. of Arkansas, Baldwin’s in De Queen and as a custodian for the De Queen Elementary School for 16 years. She was a member of the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church and served as the Community Service Director for several years. She and her husband, Roy, were co-founders of the Banana Belt Cruiser Motorcycle Club in Ellensburg, Washington. She enjoyed watching her dogs, decorating her yard, teaching children to play baseball and riding motorcycles, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 57 years, Roy Wolcott; one daughter, Betty Gail Wolcott; and two sisters, Betty Jean Winton and Catherine Newell Montgomery.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Jerome Wolcott, Steven Odis Wolcott and his wife Carla, all of De Queen; one daughter, Linda Ann Wolcott Williamson of De Queen; eight grandchildren, Kelly Ann Tallman, Tina Gayle Williamson Emmert, Alicia Rayne Wolcott, Joseph Jerome Wolcott, Christopher Eric Wolcott, Steven Shea Wolcott, Scarlett Leigh Wolcott-Barth and Kaleena Amber Wages; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy Wolcott will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Daniel Kaffenburer officiating. Burial will follow in the Beacon Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
