Abraham DeLeon was born December 17, 1963 to his mother Eva Rocha DeLeon and his father Juan Villareal DeLeon in Laredo, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Cedar Hill, Texas. To many people, he was son, brother, friend, but to his family, he was known as Papu. He had a heart for people that could fill an entire room and make every person he spoke with feel like they were a part of his family. His smile was contagious and every person who was blessed to see it will never forget it. Abraham was never a man to hold a grudge and always found this quickest way to forgive others. He always encouraged his family not to worry too much, that everything would be okay. He spent his last hours on this earth praising his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Abraham was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and prayed mightily in the presence of the Lord. Abraham was a man who loved his friends, his family and most importantly, his God. He is standing before God now praising him in his heavenly reward. God is good, all the time. Abraham is preceded in death by his father, Juan and brother, Manuel. He is survived by his wife, Claudia; three children, LeAnn, Moses and Elias; mother, Eva; sisters, Lidia, Emma, Hortencia and Alma; brothers, Fernando and Alberto; son-in-law, Brock and many other beloved family members. A Visitation will be held on Friday November 1, 2019 at Gateway Church 555 N. Walnut Grove Rd. Midlothian, TX 76065 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. On Saturday November 2, 2019 a Funeral Service will be celebrated in his honor at Gateway Church – Midlothian, TX at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Midlothian Cemetery.
