Violet "Maye" Ashe Connor, 86, of Landrum, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Daughter of the late James Oscar and Bertha Morrison Ashe; wife of the late Oscar Lee "Junior" Connor, Jr.

A member of Redeemed Baptist Church; loved her family; her grandchildren and great granchildren were the love of her life.

Loved to bake and give it away, she was known as the "Chocolate Cake Lady" in Landrum. Played the piano and sang in gospel groups for many years.

Survived by a son, Doug Connor (Ann); two daughters, Wanda Cash (Jerry) and Sherry Hall (Jack); grandchildren, Grant and Kendall Cash, Gina Moniouk, Andrew and Brian Hall, Ashley Clark and Amber Lolley; great-grandchildren, Brooke Cash, Evan and Isaac Moniouk, Austin and Tatum Sandlin, Carsten, Malachi and Briley Hall, Cylas and Connor Clark, Barrett and Brynlee Lolley; two brothers, Milas and Johnny Ashe and two sisters, Hazel and Bobbie Ashe.

Predeceased by two brothers, Charlie Ashe and Jimmy Ashe; two sisters, Kathryn Ashe Dietz and Jane Ashe.

The family received friends from 11:00 - 11:45 AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Redeemed International Church in Landrum

Graveside service was held at 12:00 PM in the church cemetery, conducted by Rev. John Williams and Dr. Tommy Turner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
