Eloise 0ltz, of 719 W. Clinton St., Ithaca, died Sunday evening at Tompkins Community Hospital.
She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Frederick and Frances English Conger.
Before retiring from Cornell after many years service, she had also been employed as a dental technician for area dentists.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Esther Monroe of Ithaca, her daughter in law, Lola Knowles of Aurora; her granddaughters, Ginger, Patricia, Robin and Laurie and several great grandchildren; her niece, Judy Dean of Ithaca and her nephew Edward Monroe of Ithaca. She was pre-deceased by her son Robert Knowles in 1973.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home with Gene Wilcox officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from l-2p.m. preceding her service. Memorials may be made to Hospicare or the charity of one's choice.
