George Drumm, 71, died at his home, 14 East River Street, Ilion, Sunday afternoon, after a two-weeks illness. Mr. Drumm, was born November 21, 1863, in Sprakers, a son of Jacob and Eliza Minch Drumm. He had been a resident of this village for about 45 years and was employed by the Remington Typewriter for 45 years as a polisher. He was a member of Ilion Lodge, 1444, BPO Elks and the Polishers Union. He leaves, besides his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Vayo, Ilion, a son, George, Utica, two sister, Mrs. Jennie Brothers, and Mrs. Libbie Fosmire, Johnstown; five brothers, Nicholas and Philip, Ilion, Peter, Utica, Jacob and John, Sprakers.
