Jacob Drumm Dies: Aged 78
Jacob Drumm, 78, of 125½ Washington Street, died last night at 6;30 in the Capitol Nursing Home in Gloversville where he had been a patient since February. A resident of Johnstown for about a year, he was the brother of Mrs. Jennie Brothers of this city. Mr. Drumm was born in Sprakers, the son of Jacob and Eliza (Minch) Drumm. He spent most of his life in Fultonville, where he was employed by the White Mop Wringer Co. His wife, Arilla Drumm, died last July 2. Survivors besides his sister, include two brothers, Philip and Nicholas of Ilion and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 pm.from the Cole Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Jay Reid of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
