B'Nita "LeeLee" Mae Brown, 80, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation is 5 - 9 p.m., today and after 10 a.m., Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Ms. Brown was a native of Copiah County. She retired from Bellsouth in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ina "Granny" Brown Cocker; her father, William A. Brown; and brothers, Vernon Brown, Norris L. Brown, and Gervas H. Brown.
Survivors include: devoted friend, Carolyn Grubbs of Brandon; nephews, Norris L. Brown II and wife, Ginger of Prairieville, La., and Stephen H. Nelson and wife, Kathy of Brandon; niece, Rebecca A. Johnson and husband, Jeff of Ashburn, Va.; sister-in-law, Irma Nelson and husband, Tom of Pearl; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
