Polly Saenz Hesse Hatton, 87, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on October 21, 2019. She was born on March 12, 1932 in Yorktown, DeWitt County, Texas to Ben and Sarah Saenz. Polly was a retired rural letter carrier. She loved tending to her garden and going to social activities. This beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend will truly be missed.
In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by siblings, Gilbert, Aaron, Ben, and Robert Saenz, Irene Ochoa, and Gloria Launarey; her husband, James Hatton; son, Anthony Hesse; daughters, Beverly Hesse and Elizabeth Hesse; and granddaughter, Jennifer Hesse.
Survivors include her first husband, John P. Hesse; sons, James Hesse and wife, Valerie, and Dennis Hesse and wife, Connie; sister, Pimmie Saenz Sanchez; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
