Mrs. Wanda Sue Baker White, age 74, of Grayson, Kentucky, entered into her heavenly home, Sunday morning, October 20, 2019, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
She was born May 21, 1945, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Elijah and Lessie Ann Hay Baker.
Wanda was a member of Stinson Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, especially with her husband, whom she loved very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Delmar White Jr.; three brothers, Dewey Jay Baker, Arnold Lee Baker and George Bill Baker; and two sisters, Leona Ferguson and Mary Elizabeth Miller.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James “Jim” Delmar White; one daughter, Carolann Bailey (Dave) of Grayson, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Nancy White of Rush, Kentucky; four grandchildren, JamesRay White (Carolyn) and Dawnielle Fannin (Jake), all of Rush, Kentucky, Jessica Barker (Scott) and David Bailey Jr. (Kayla Williams), all of Grayson, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Gabby Burchett, Trista Cantrell, Landon Yates, Colten White, and Ava Fannin; one brother, Elijah Baker (Sue) of Hitchins, Kentucky; and one sister, Shirley Blevins (Willis) of Wayne, Michigan. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky, with her grandson, Scott Barker and Brother Mike Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019, and after 9 a.m. on Friday at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.
JamesRay White, Scott Barker, Jake Fannin, Tim Littleton, Randall Baker and Eddie Blevins will serve as pallbearers.
