She was born in the Town of Hector, Schuyler County. She was a member of the Auburn Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving is a son, Albert R. Shannon of Venice Center, 2 daughters, Mrs. Gordon Palmer of Venice Center, Mrs. James Everhart of Trumansburg, 1 sister, Mrs. Lottie Carr of Union Springs, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 1 niece. Funeral services at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday [10 June 1976 - R. A. Post] at the Brew Funeral Home. Pastor M. A. Wheeler will officiate. Burial in Genoa Cemetery. Friends may call at 48 South St. on Wednesday evening 7 to 9 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Frontenac Memorial Fund"
