ROME - Michael A. Schiller, 65, Verona, a retired Rome Cable employee, died yesterday in the Verona Hotel, where he had resided for the past 18 years.
He was born in Rome. He was employed at Rome Cable Division of Alcoa and prior to that by Rome Wire Co. and the Rome State School. He retired in 1965. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Rome, and Our Lady of Good Counsel, Verona, and the Rome Elks Club.
He leaves four sisters, Mrs. Thomas J. (Lillian) Foster, Camden; Mrs. Herman (Bertha) Lutz, Rome: Mrs. Fred J. (Margaret) Houser, and Miss Pauline E. Schiller, both
of Verona.
The funeral will be at 8:45 Saturday from the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home and at 9:30 from St. Mary's Church, where a solemn requiem Mass will be offered. Burial will
be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
