VERONA - Mrs. Margaret B. Houser, 90, of Main Street, co-owner and operator of the Verona Hotel, died Monday, April 28, 1986, in Oneida City Hospital after being stricken at home.
Born in Rome on April 7, 1896, she was a daughter of Michael and Katherine Hoehn Schiller. On Jan 1, 1917, she married Frederick J. Houser in Rome. Mr. Houser died in 1965.
Mrs. Houser was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James G. (Jean) Smith, Rome; a son, Jack R. Houser, Verona; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Lutz, Rome; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home, Rome; and at 11 in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
