George Annie Russell married 1st to James "Murphy" McDaniel (born ca 1868 in Missouri); they were the parents of one son, James William "Jim Willie" McDaniel, born September 3, 1896, in Bates County, Missouri.

George Annie married 2nd to Rubin Dale Lunsford, on August 23, 1900, in Logan County, Arkansas. The Logan County Marriage Records show: R. D. Lunsford, age 21, residence listed as Paris, Logan County, Arkansas; and Mrs. Annie McDaniel, age 24, residence listed as Caulksville, Logan County, Arkansas; married 23 August 1900 in Logan County. (Her son, James W. McDaniel, age 4, was living with his grandparents, Stephen & Nancy Russell, in 1900 Madison County, Arkansas, Kings River Township census).

In the 1910 Logan County, Arkansas, census, Reuben D. & Annie Lunsford are listed, with Annie's son, James McDonald (should be McDaniel) living with them. They are found in the 1920 Haskell County, Oklahoma, census listed as R. D. & Annie Lunsford. They are found in 1930 Hidalgo County, Texas, census in Mission Township, listed as Ruben D. & Annie Lunsford.

Rubin D. Lunsford died on October 6, 1939, in Hidalgo County, Texas.

George Annie (Russell) Lunsford married 3rd to Dr. Madison Jay Smith on February 19, 1940, in Hidalgo County, Texas. (Madison Jay Smith had been married at least 4 times previously). They are in 1940 Hidalgo County, Texas, census in Mission Township, listed as Dr. Madison J. Smith and wife, Annie.

It is unknown when George Annie (Russell) Lunsford Smith died. I can find no listing for her after April 1942 when she is listed as wife, on the World War II Draft Registration of Madison Jay Smith. Evidently George "Annie" & Dr. Madison Jay Smith divorced because in 1959 he is married to a lady named "Alpha".

Annie's son, James William McDaniel, died on September 26, 1954, at Mission, Hidalgo County, Texas. His obituary appears in the September 27, 1954, issue of the Brownsville Herald, Brownsville, Texas, but the obituary does not mention either of his parents.
