She and her late husband, Arvel Lee Casey, were well known for the operation of the only steam powered saw mill in the State of Arkansas. In addition they operated a Grocery store at Boxley for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Donnie Clark; a great grandson, Claude Austin Clark; two sisters, Lois Fecko and Myrtle Carpentar; and two brothers, Vearl and Beecher Self.
Survivors include her daughter, Eul Dean Casey Clark of Boxley; a grandson, Kenny Clark of Berryville; three granddaughters, Billie Stinson of Harrison, Kathy Morales of Pelsor and Deanna Young of Boxley; three sisters, Laverne Eoff of Harrison, Modena Thibodeau of Harrison and Mary Jo Lewis of Long Beach, Calif.; 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, Jan. 7 at the Boxley Baptist Church. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery with Rev. Claud Williams and Rev. Charles Taylor officiating.
Pallbearers were Jason Brasel, Joel Brasel, Adam Clark, Stacey Clark, Casey Young and Dustin Waters. Honorary Pallbearers were Bill Duty, Norman Flory, Claude Clark, Bill Fowler, Guffrey Young, James Roy Eoff, and Nurses and Care Givers from Home Health Care.
