Eul Dean Clark, of Boxley, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at home surrounded by her daughters.

The daughter of Arvel and Elsie (Self) Casey was born November 17, 1924 at Murray, Arkansas. Her family moved from Murray to Boxley Valley in 1935.

Eul Dean retired from the US Postal Service on October 31, 1998 after serving 33 years as the Postmaster in Ponca. She was very active in community and church activities. In 2002, she was Newton County Farm Woman of the Year. She was also a former member of the Newton County Special Services Board.

She loved her family and loved to cook. Until the last few years, you could always stop by her house on Sunday after church and she would have a full meal that she prepared before she went to church. A family cookbook was published in her honor, Clark Family Favorites, with contributions going to Walnut Grove Cemetery.

She loved to send greeting cards to everyone she knew and she loved receiving Christmas cards, displaying them around every door facing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvel and Elsie Casey; her husband, Beecher Clark; two sons, Donnie Clark and Kenny Clark; a grandson, Claude Austin Clark; a son-in-law, Jimmy Stinson and daughter-in-law, Etta Clark.
