Georgia Lynn Young, 59, of Grayville, Illinois, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born April 17, 1955, in Carmi, IL, the daughter of George and Peggy (Churchwell) Aborn. She was married to Michael L. Young, and he survives.

Lynn was a nurse and member of the First Baptist Church in Albion, IL.

Her passion was nursing and she enjoyed flower gardening and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Young of Bone Gap, IL; her parents, George and Peggy Aborn of Cowling, IL; son Mike (Amber) Young of Albion; daughter Jessica (Mark) Rogers of Grayville; brother Shannon (Tammy) Aborn of Mt. Vernon, IN; sisters Carol (Loren) Evans of Mt. Vernon, IN, Patti (Bill) Ratcliffe of Bone Gap, Kelly (Mike) Murphy of Grayville; grandchildren Harlan, Jace Pierce and Seamus Young, Dylan, Kaden and Blake Rogers.

Cremation will immediately follow the visitation. A memorial service will be at 10 am, Friday, at First Baptist Church in Albion.
