Charles V McFall, 81, passed away at his home on Est Main street early Thursday, September. 29, a victim of heart disease. For a couple of days prior to his death MR. McFall had complained of what he thought was bronchitis but neither he nor his family were aware of any heart ailment. Aside from an illness two years ago culminating in an operation Mr. McFall had never known sickness of consequence in his more than four score years.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church with which Mr. McFall was affiliated. The Rev. Frank Paul Hladky was in charge. “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross” were sung by a quartet composed of Mrs. Charles Hibbs, Evelyn Kramer, Albert Turner and D. H. Zenimire with Mrs. R. R. Hibbs at the organ.

Those carrying the casket to its final resting place in the I. O. O. F. cemetery were A. R. Brown, Bruce Hedges, Will Edwards, Louis Paine, Charles Kent and Frank Cook.
