Mr. Bain was born March 28, 1904, a son of Walter and Bonnie Bain, in Cainsville.
Survivors include on daughter, Pauline Olson, Waukee; on son, Bill Bain; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Twitchell, Laclede and Mrs. Evelyn June Bain Cummings, Independence; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bain was proceeded in death by his wife, Dorothy; on son, Randall Lee Bain; two brothers, Roy Bain and Pete Bain; and one sister, Grace Spurling.
