Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Odell and Virginia Smith Harvley. Joyce retired from Greenwood Mills and was of the Holiness faith. She was twice married, first to the late Clarence Cook and was preceded in death by her sister, Sybil Reynolds. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Nix of Ninety Six and Donna Alexander (John) of Hodges; four grandchildren, Phillip Trotter, Kimberly Rowe, Lisa Gallman and Michael Medlock; seven great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Graveside at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
