Tessie (Alarid) Romero, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2019, she was 98 years old. She was born August 11, 1921, in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Lucille and Santiago Alarid. She was married in 1942 to her soulmate, and best friend, Manual Tony Romero.

Tessie was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel, daughter, Dolores Flores, Son, Anthony Romero as well as her parents, and many brothers, and sisters.

Tessie is survived by daughters, Mary Maes and husband, Arthur Maes, Lorraine Quintana and husband, Don Quintana, Darlene Romero-Salgado and husband, Juan Salgado and daughters Clara Romero, Cathy Romero, and Connie Almanzar, son, David Romero and his partner, Joe Lopez, plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren

Our family, was blessed to have her in our lives for many years ,her role as wife, mother, and grandmother were the most important things to Tessie. Four generations benefited from her love, patience, strength, and the way she had of making each one of us feel special, she was always there for advice, or a shoulder to cry on.

Tessie was a very strong and determined person with a tremendous love for god, she was his faithful servant even to the end. Her memory and love will live on in each of us who's life's she toughed, we can continue to gain strengths from her even now.
