Mrs. Chas. A. Bonjour

Louise Zurcher was born in Liniere, Switzerland, on March 18, 1845, an came to America in 1856. She was married to Chas. A. Bonjour on August 15, 1863. To this union were born five children, two dying in infancy.

A son Charles died in 1899. Two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Perrussel and Mrs. Matilda Besancon, survive. The deceased was a devoted Christian and joined the Presbyterian Church at Neuchatel in 1873.

For many years she has suffered greatly, and has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Besancon. She was able to be up and around most of the time until last Thursday evening, when she had gone to a neighbor for a short visit.

She complained of being ill at that time and in spite of every effort she passed away that night. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian Church at Neuchatel on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. F. L. Marcy of this city conducting the services, A large audience paid its last tribute of respect to the noble woman, and the floral offerings were many.
