James Arnold Hinton, 65, of Hardinsburg, Ky, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. He was born in Hardinsburg, Ky on July 11, 1954 to the late Vachel and Edna Rhodes Hinton. Arnold was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. After retirement, he enjoyed being home and working on the farm as well as rides on his Harley motorcycle. Family time was very important and he loved being with his children and grandchildren.

Arnold was preceded in death by a brother, Friedell Hinton.

He is survived by his wonderful wife of 45 years, Joyce Hinton.
One son: Billy Hinton (Bethany) of Hardinsburg, Ky
Three daughters: Tracy Fleming (Dean) of Beaufort. S.C. ; Tammy Risinger (Jimmy) of Leitchfield, Ky. ; Wendy Wilson (Dennis)of Hardinsburg, Ky.
Eight grandchildren: Ashley Hinton, Caitlyn Krebs (Chad), Dylan Wilson, Toby Hinton, Haley Hinton, Molly Hinton, Lauren Risinger & Haley Risinger.
Three brothers: Johnny Hinton (Kathy) of Shepherdsville, Ky; Celest Hinton (Bonnie) and Tommy Hinton (Lisa) of Hardinsburg, Ky.
Three sisters: Von Pendleton (Ed) of Lebanon, Ky; Lynn Powers (John) of Hawesville, Ky and Joyce Geary (Dannie) of Caneyville, Ky

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 4-8 PM and Saturday after 8 AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.
