She was born to Floyd Pryor and Ivy Alice Thomas Pryor. She attended Maydelle High School and was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ.
Mrs. Benge was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oran W. Benge; son, Mike Benge and stepson, Gary Benge.
She is survived by daughters, Floydelle and husband Dr. Herbert Ballew and Sharon and husband Randy Moore; son James O. "Buddy" and wife Rayma Benge and stepson, Gene Benge; sister, Nita Joyce Dover; grandchildren, Steven Huskey, Robin Rocha, Jamie Norgaard, Brian Benge, Zachary Moore and eight great grandchildren.
