Ohio Fuel Co. District Field Manager Is Summoned by Death

CALDWELL, O., April 3 – Amos Archer, 48, district field manager of the Ohio Fuel company, and well known resident of Caldwell and Noble county, died suddenly at
midnight Thursday, at his home on Belford street. Death it is said, was due to a heart attack. The death came as a shock to the family and entire community.

Mr. Archer was the son of the late Milberry and Elizabeth Archer, and lived his entire life in Noble county. He, with his family, resided on a farm east of Caldwell, until two years ago, when they moved to Caldwell. Surviving are his
widow, who was Miss Allie Dowell before her marriage, and the following children: Mrs. George Scott of Ashland, O.; Mrs. Mason Cox and Mrs. Earl McElfresh both of Caldwell. One sister Mrs. Millard Hesson of East Union also survives.

Private funeral services will be held from the home on Belford street Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Carroll Stewart, and interment will be made in the Olive cemetery near Caldwell.
