Wilda M. Thomas, 87, of New Martinsville, WV, died Friday, September 20, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital Wheeling, WV.
She was born March 4, 1932 in Marshall County, WV, a daughter of the late David Edward and Clara Holmes Blake.
She worked as a cashier in cafeteria at PPG, was a member of Bridge Street Church of Christ and Moose Lodge #931, both of New Martinsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Thomas; a son, Harold Thomas; a daughter, Crystal Barker; a brother, Raymond Blake and four sisters, Leatha Burkhart, Ada Cooper, Evelyn Johnson and Erma Howell.
Survivors include a son Rickie (Kay) Thomas of Proctor, WV; a son-in-law, Artie Barker; five grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Jessica, Lacy, and Kendra; and 9 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Evangelist Paolo DiLuca officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park New Martinsville.
