After attending Centerville High School, Bernice worked at the Green Circle Restaurant for several years until retirement. She enjoyed watching television, keeping a lookout for the mailman and spending time with her family.
Bernice is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Leonard, LaVerne, Glenn and Wayne Peel and her sister, Eloise Byte.
Per Bernice's wishes, cremation has been accorded and graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating.
