Funerals services for Harry D.Grant, 73 of Mueller Ave. Will be at Morans with burial in Westside cemetery in Moweaqua, Illinois. He died yesterday in Decatur and Macon county hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was a retired Pennsylvania railroad engineer and a member of the Chesterville United Brethren church.
He married Fern Ropp in May 1911 in St.Louis. She died in 1944. He married Ruth Green in 1949 in Hotsprings, Ark. She survives. He leaves a son Glen of Decatur, three daughter,Mrs.Frances Sarver of Moweaqua and Mrs. Harriet McCarty and Mrs. Delores Gaffron of Dyer, Ind, Stepsons, Robert Green of Decatur, stepdaughter Mrs.Betty Fergson of Decatur, nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two daughters and one son preceded him in death.
