Reuben J. Brandau, 76, of Rudd, died Thursday, July 4, 1996,at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Eden Presbyterian Church, north of Rudd, with the Rev. John Bates officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Reuben J. Brandau was born Feb. 21, 1920, at the family farm north of Rudd.
Survivors include his wife, Madge, of Rudd; one daughter, Mary Grekoff of Hudson, Wis.; one son, Bill Brandau and his wife, Barb, of Floyd; four sisters: Alice Ohden of Floyd, Lucille Bisbee of Stacyville, Eunice Stockdale of Parkersburg, and Eleanor Sinning of Rudd; five grandchildren;and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.

Veteran of WWII, was in US Army in the 113th Signal Co (Intel). Served from 21 AUG 1925 to 8 NOV 1945.
