Beatrice "Louise" Best, 87, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 3, 2007.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.

Louise was born March 27, 1920, in Amarillo to John and Amy Weatherred. She married Howard J. Best and they resided in Amarillo most of their married life.

The Best family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to Circle of Friends and BSA Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; a daughter, Patti Sanders; a sister; and two brothers.

Survivors include a son, Dan Best of Amarillo; a niece, Jerri McGowan of Amarillo; as well as a host of relatives and friends.

The family suggests memorials be to Olivia's House, BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105; or a favorite charity.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
