Christina Lynn Bailey, age 64, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Accura HealthCare of Knoxville.

Christina was born on July 9, 1955 in Salina, Kansas, the daughter of Alva and Barbara (McMains) Bailey. She grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville High School, Class of 1974.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, with Christina’s family present to greet relatives and friends until the start of service. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

Those left to cherish Christina’s memory include her son, Michael (Lesley) Gill; daughter, Jennifer Brown; brother, Steve (Hollie Mallison) Bailey; sister, Paula (Butch) Koons; also six grandchildren, Michael, David, Zane, Jakob, Brock and Lexi.

Christina is preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Barbara (McMains) Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Christina’s memory to her family to help with final expenses.
