Sarah Goff Huntington was born in Pennsylvania in the year of 1808. The best I can find is that she died after 1880. She was married on May 26, 1822 to John Huntington who was born in New London, Connecticut, in Muskingum, Ohio. Her parents were Samuel Goff, born in England and Martha M Thumwood also born in England, they were married in Hanover, London England in 1791.
Sarah and John had eight children, five of them left Ohio and headed to California in the 1850's, they were, Amelia, John, Abby, Sarah and Elizabeth. The three children that stayed in Ohio with their mother were, Charles, Louisa and Gordon. Sarah's husband John died in 1860 and according to the Muskingum,County, Ohio census in 1880 Charles and Louisa were still there. The youngest son, Gordon, had died in 1863.
