Charlotte Kay Eisentrager, 76, of Tama, died on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Unity Point Health in Marshalltown. Graveside services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama.

Charlotte was born on May 8, 1941, in rural Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur Cary and Bernice Lacina. She graduated from Tama High School.

On August 20, 1960, she married Larry Eisentrager in Ackley, Iowa. Charlotte formerly worked at Marshall Instruments in Marshalltown and Sears. She was a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama. Charlotte was also a member of the Tama Firefighters Auxiliary. She loved to read and spend time with her family and dogs. Charlotte especially enjoyed the years she lived on their farm south of Tama.

Survivors include two children, Stuart (Becky) Eisentrager of Tama and Kathy (Mark) Plouffe of Toledo; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Deb (Bart) Janssen, and Connie (Dennis) Swieter; and brother-in-law, Bob Eisentrager.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Larry; and one great-grandson.
