Napoleon Junior “Cotton” Turner IV, 65, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.
Napoleon was born in Rockingham County to Elsie Lee Turner and the late, Napoleon Junior Turner III.
He loved to hunt, Sunday dinners and playing country music. Most of all he loved his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by sisters, Lisa Turner and Sandra Turner Fuqua.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Virginia Goolsby Turner; mother, Elsie Lee Turner; children, Renee Light (Larry), Frankie Turner (Audrey), Stephanie Wilson (Jon), Elsie McCraw and John McCraw; siblings, Joyce Gravely, Vickie McCraw, Joseph Turner, Robert Turner and James Turner; grandchildren, James, Mickey, Jasmine, Sasha, Cassie, Caitie, Kasey (Jacob), Thomas (Laurynn), Dustin, Isaac, and Nicholas along 3 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G Komen Foundation at Dept. 41831 P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265.
