Ms. Alfrancis Kern departed this life on August 20, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on April 11, 1952, to the late Columbus Elvige and the late Elnora Woods Kern. She was the second youngest of eight children. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Allen Fletcher on May 19, 1968. Two children were born. On Sept. 20, 1968, Trentis Darwin Fletcher. On December 25, 1971, Trenia LaFrancis Fletcher Breaux.
Alfrancis accepted Christ at an early age and joined Aaron Chapel and later joined Mt. Vernon Church where she remained a faithful and active member until her health failed. She worked as a GRA at Holiday Inn Casino, manager at Church's Chicken in Las Vegas, Nevada, and as a Chef Cook in New Orleans, LA.
Alfrancis was also crazy about Big Momma and Big Daddy, Ollen, and Ophelia Fletcher. Also Mr. James and Ollie Mae Winters, Aunt Essie D. Winters, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Alfrancis leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted two children: Trentis (Shelia) Fletcher, Canton, MS; Trenia Fletcher Breaux, Gretna, LA.
Grandchildren: Jessica Lewis, and Brayden Breaux, both of Gretna, LA; Trinity Fletcher, Maydson Fletcher, and Shardi Rosell all from Canton, MS; Terria (Calvin) Walker, Biloxi, MS.
Great-Grandchildren, Tikiya Lee, Timiyha Lee, Timarrian Lee, and Demarion Walker all of Biloxi, MS.
One sister, Ms. Thelma Winters, Kosciusko, MS; One brother, Minister Ladallis Daryl (Veryla) Kern, LasVegas, Nevada; One aunt, Blanch Kern, Kosciusko, MS; Two nieces, Shanderia Kern Posey, Byram, MS; T.
